Andrew Weaver is one of the world’s leading experts on climate dynamics, ocean circulation, and the role of the oceans in climate change and instability. He has been interviewed by media as diverse as ABC News, the New York Times, CBC Midday, The Weather Channel, BBC Horizon and The Economist. In 1998, he was awarded an NSERC E.W.R. Steacie Fellowship, one of the highest honours given to a young Canadian scientist or engineer.
