PAGSE is a cooperative association of more than 20 national organizations in Science and Engineering, representing approximately 50,000 individual members from the industry, academia, and government sectors. PAGSE was formed in June 1995 to represent the Canadian science and engineering community to the Government of Canada.

Our Members

The member organizations of PAGSE provide core support for its meetings and activities. These include defining the economic benefits of research in Canada and the effects of research budgets, analyzing intellectual property issues and other potential impediments to improving academic-industry symbiosis, showcasing the international dimensions of research projects and associations, and informing decision makers about science and engineering and their importance to Canada.

SciEng Pages is an initiative of PAGSE. SciEng Pages aims to increase discussion on topical issues that have science and engineering at their core by summarizing the current state of knowledge and policy landscape. Each issue is prepared and reviewed by a multi-disciplinary team encompassed within a Canadian research network. SciEng Pages is available free of charge.

Bacon & Eggheads Committee:

This flagship series brings together Parliamentarians with experts in science and engineering, showcasing outstanding Canadian research accomplishments. Its purpose is to provide unbiased insight into topical scientific issues, within a non-partisan forum.
