The Bacon and Eggheads committee meets virtually on a monthly basis to plan these events. Roles and responsibilities include:
- Reviewing Egghead nominations
- Liaising with selected Eggheads
- Creating promotional materials for events (Eventbrite pages, email invites, YouTube shorts, etc.) and LinkedIn posts with input from Eggheads
- Coordinating event logistics with Parliament Hill staff and vendors (room booking, catering, interpretation, etc.)
- Engaging with Parliamentarians over phone and email to invite them to our events
- If based in Ottawa, on-site presence the day of the event (registration, photography, etc.)
